This is the Forbes and Lomax X2GDIM/N, a 2 Gang Dimmer Plate in Stainless Steel – Grid, Plate and Knobs only.

Please note: this dimmer plate cannot be sold separately; the required number module/s need to purchased together with the plate (it’s a mix-and-match plate).

It is a single size plate 2 gang dimmer plate consisting of the grid, the plate, and the knobs only; the dimmer or switch modules need to be ordered separately.

• If you already have a particular finish of Forbes and Lomax at home and you wish to add more modules, this is one of the “mix-and-match” plates – you can select the desired plate and the required modules to obtain the item you require.
• For example, if you require a 4 gang bronze plate with 2 LED dimmers and 2 dummy dimmers, you can purchase 1 x X4GIM/BMA + 2 x ZT250 + 2 x ZOPUSH.

It requires a dimmer or switch module, such as the ZT250 (0-120W trailing edge LED dimmer module), ZT300 (0-300W trailing edge LED dimmer module), LED/24 (leading edge 25-280W LED dimmer module), ZO/0-10 (0-10 volts module), ZOPUSH (push on/off dimmer), SMG250 (40-250W halogen dimmer module), SMG400 (60-400W halogen dimmer module), SMG600 (100-600W halogen dimmer module), ZOFAN (fan speed controller), or IP (push intermediate module).

About the Forbes and Lomax Stainless Steel Range

The Forbes and Lomax Stainless Steel range of switches and sockets has brushed stainless steel plates with satin nickel switches and buttons. They offer a more industrial look, being particularly well suited to applications in contemporary interiors and kitchens.

• Cleaning: The plate can be cleaned using a small amount of stainless steel cleaner. These are normally spray cleaners and should be sprayed directly onto the cloth and buffed into the plate. It is recommended that the plate is removed from the wall before cleaning to prevent damage to the wall surface. Alternatively, place a protective piece of card between the plate and the wall before cleaning.
• This range is available in Dolly Switch, Rotary Dimmer, Button Dimmer, Rocker Switch. Furthermore, a full range of socket outlets are available, including power outlets, European sockets, telecom and data, audio and visual, fused connection.
• All switches conform to BSEN 60669-1:2018. 13amp sockets conform to BS1363-2:2016+A1: 2018, 2amp and 5amp sockets conform to BS546:1950
• Single plates measure 86mm x 86mm and double plates measure 146mm x 86mm
• A full range of socket outlets are available, including power outlets, telecom and data, audio and visual, fused connection and floor sockets
• All Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes, but we recommend 47mm for ease of installation
